About the Background Remover tool
A transparent background lets you place a logo, product or signature on any colour or design. This tool removes plain, single-colour backgrounds (white studio backdrops, solid walls, flat colour screens) and exports a transparent PNG.
It works by detecting colours close to the background and making them transparent. The tolerance slider controls how similar a colour must be to be removed. It is not an AI cut-out tool, so it works best on simple backgrounds.
How to use it
- Upload an image with a plain background.
- Set the background tolerance. Increase it if some background remains, decrease it if parts of the subject disappear.
- Click Remove Background and check the preview.
- Press Download Transparent PNG to save the result.
